PISTOL CARTRIDGE LEVER ACTION

Dates: 3rd Saturday of every month
Time:

Matches Start : 

  • 9:00 am / Practice 8:00 am (April-September)
  • 10:00 am / Practice 9:00 am (October)
Location:  Aurora Gun Club is on Gun Club Road South on I-70 at the E470 exit 289. Take exit and bear left turning left at the first stop light (about 50 yards). Turn right on to Gun Club Road. Range is on the right about a mile down the road. Speed limit is 45 mph and is monitored.
Course of Fire: 40 Round match, 10 each at chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams.  Swinger targets set at 40, 50, 75 and 100 meters. 
Equipment: Lever Action Rifle Class
Standard production, non-target types. "Iron sights only, including: open, receiver (peep), tang.
Ammo: Cast lead bullets only. At reasonable velocities.  Any rimmed straight walled pistol cartridge including .218, 25-20, 32-20, 38-40, 44-40, and .22 mag.
Misc: No slings or special shooting apparel.  Binoculars may be used.  No spotting scopes.
Fees

$10.00 for AGC members, $15.00 for non-members, Juniors (under age 21) shoot free, but must be supervised by parent or an adult.

The match director will be the final authority as to approval of guns and equipment.
