CENTERFIRE RIFLE ( BENCH REST )
This discipline is probably one of the easiest forms of shooting as far as physical
output. It does require some patience as far as working with your rifle and loads to make
the rifle shoot as accurately and consistent as possible within the guidelines of each
specific class.

HIGH POWER RIFLE ( NRA )
This event requires a rifle that can be reloaded quickly and has open sights. It
includes rapid and slow firing. Positions are prone, sitting and standing. Targets vary to
change the degree of difficulty. This is one of the Events held at Camp Perry every year.

MILITARY RIFLE MATCH
This match is a low key, fun type match for the collectors and shooters of military
type rifles and carbines.
( No select fire or full autos allowed ) These matches are 20 shots and are shot at 100

CMP U.S. SERVICE RIFLE MATCHES
Only pre 1955 U.S. Military rifles such as, M1903; M1 Garand; M1 Carbine; 1917 Enfield; 1941 Johnson; using ball ammunition are allowed.
No .308 or match conversion rifles or match ammunition to be allowed in the course of fire.
Matches begin at 9:00 AM and last roughly 3 hours depending on number of shooters.
All matches are standard course A, 35 round, held at the 200 yard range.
Matches are held every other month alternating with the Military Rifle matches during spring/summer months. Please see monthly range calendar for specific dates.
Matches do have a $10 AGC member entry fee. Nonmembers welcome, fee $15.00.

SMALLBORE RIFLE AND SMALLBORE HUNTING / RIFLE SILHOUETTE / NRA
Matches are shot with .22 Caliber rimfire rifles, from the standing position. Chickens
at 40 meters, Pigs at 60 meters, Turkeys at 77 meters, and Rams at 100 meters. Each
shooter is allowed 2.5 minutes to fire 5 shots at 5 targets. The target must be knocked
off the stand to count as a hit. A match usually consists of 10 shots at each animal for a
total of 40 shots.
